Hey everybody! My name is Lauren Banks. I am the creator of Branded Dun. I have started this as a space of creativity for myself, and to kickstart my dream career. I wanted to give a little background into why I chose the name, what it means, and my motive for starting this dream!

The name “Branded Dun” fell in my lap one day. My best friend for the last 7 years has been Dakota. He is a Buckskin Dun that opened my eyes to endless possibilities and has been with me through everything. He was the spark for my fiery passion that is horses. I spent countless hours on his back working out life’s issues I was facing at the moment or just having some fun. A peace like no other is felt when you’re on the back of something that could easily kill you but has all trust in you. I have spent the last 12 years being head over heels in love with every piece of a horse I could get my hands on. My Junior and Senior year of high school I was in Equine Production at Votech. I spent the two years learning, training, and really discovering how the industry as a whole works. I wanted to set myself apart and truly know what goes on behind the scenes so I can market the industry from an insider’s view. This last year I spent working with some amazing people! Learning, having to trust myself, and growing as a creator. I owe it to them for where I am today and for where I will go on later! All that being said, Horses are the reason I can do what I do. Dakota is the reason I have the name. 

While horses are my passion, I love creating content people are excited about. I love seeing what grabs the attention and makes people stand together. I hope to use this space to further my skills and to make others smile with the content I create!
